Arrhythmology and Pacemaker Consultation
Arrhythmology is responsible for the clinical and diagnostic assessment of various types of cardiac dysrhythmias.
When indicated, it performs percutaneous treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (e.g. atrial fibrillation) or the implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators or cardiac resynchronisation in patients with severe heart failure.
